This traditionally middle eastern dish is a go to for me. I’m a big fan of chickpeas because they’re high in protein, fiber in magnesium. I love magnesium because it can reduce anxiety, migraines, PMS, and muscle aches.

This traditionally middle eastern dish is a go to for me. I’m a big fan of chickpeas because they’re high in protein, fiber in magnesium. I love magnesium because it can reduce anxiety, migraines, PMS, and muscle aches.

 

Ingredients

1 can of chickpeas

1/2 a bunch of parsley

1/2 bunch of cilantro

10 sprigs of mint

Shallot

3 Garlic Cloves

Oil for frying (I like avocado oil)

3 tablespoons of chickpea flour

salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon cardamom

 

Instructions

Coarsely blend chickpeas and put into a medium bowl

Blend parsley, cilantro, mint, shallot, and garlic together

Mix it with the chickpeas

Add in chickpea flour, salt, baking powder, cumin, cardamom

Roll into small patties

Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a dutch oven heated to about 300

Cook until browned on each side

Let your patties rest on paper towels
