Crispy Tofu

Instructions

  1. Squeeze and drain tofu

  2. Cut into small rectangles or cubes

  3. On a plate or sheet tray add the cornstarch and flour and mix

  4. Begin to heat a pan with olive oil on the stove

  5. Salt and pepper the tofu on both sides and then dredge in the flour mixture

  6. Once the pan is hot (the oil will look shiny) add the tofu

  7. Let the tofu crisp up a bit (3-5 minutes per side)

  8. Once they're slightly browned let them rest on a plate with a paper towel so any excess oil can come off

tofu

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup flour

salt and pepper

avocado or olive oil
